Mari Mae’s Newborn Session

I had a newborn session with Mari Mae last week. She is such an amazing baby, and quite the little model I must say! I had a very difficult time trying to decide which ones from the session to feature here, which is a testament to how wonderful she was for every picture I took of her. There are a lot of black and white photos in this session, but when you strip away the color, you are left with the raw elements of the photograph. And when having the opportunity to photograph someone as special as a newborn baby, sometimes all you need are those raw elements and special moments.

I like to think that my photography speciality is Wedding and Couples photography for the most part, but this sweet princess may pave the way for future sessions with other newborns! Take a look at how sweet and beautiful she is:
