Amanda’s Bridal session was one of those, everything-happened-for-a-reason, type of amazing-ness. We knew a few days before her session that the weather would turn on us, to be humid and rainy all day. But lo! The McNay museum offers permits to photograph inside the main building, so long as you don’t disturb the exhibits. The session turned out even greater than I would have imagined, due to the beautiful architecture indoors and out.
And don’t get me started on how beautiful Amanda looked. She and her dress, hair, everything, were out of a dream. Here are some of my favorites:

I can’t believe I haven’t gotten around to posting this session! I love love love Amanda and James’ engagement photo session at the San José Mission here in San Antonio. We took these photos back one October morning, and I love the soft light it gave to everything. It complements how sweet they are with each other. I can’t wait to see them get married, which speaking of, their wedding is right around the corner in April, so stay tuned! Here are some of my favorites:

Heather and Curtis are friends of mine who awesomely, I have had the rare opportunity to take all their recent life-milestone photographs for them. I took their Engagements (see here) as well as wedding photos (here). So naturally I was dying to be able to take newborn photos for them as well. I headed over to their home here in San Antonio one Saturday afternoon and we had a relaxing and comfortable lifestyle photo session.
Abigail was born on November 28th at 6 lbs, 9oz, and 18.75 inches long. She is such a beautiful and sweet tempered baby, and I can’t wait to see her continue to grow! Here are some of my favorites:

Nicole Foster is a beautiful friend of mine, whose husband, Brandon, went to school with my husband Josiah. Brandon’s family was in town this particular weekend a couple months ago, so Nicole reached out to me to take their pictures! I could not be happier with how these turned out, and considering there were three kiddos. I photographed everyone at the J.W. Marriott, which has amazing landscaping and lovely grounds. Take a look:

Rebekah and Brian are a beautiful couple inside and out, and it really shines through in these photos. Their gentle and happy nature is something that seemed to bring something special to an already special day. As always, I struggled to narrow down my favorites!
One of the more interesting moments from their wedding was the getaway. They had planned a sparkler getaway, with everyone holding a corridor of sparklers for them to travel through. However, the entire box burst into flames before they could be passed out! Luckily no one was hurt, but it’s one of those wedding day moments that becomes more momentous and fun to look back on since it wasn’t planned.
Anyway, take a look at some of my favorites:
